For all the philosophical writing on Humanistic Judaism one may read, the real meaning of the identity is best understood through its expression in living celebration. Through countless Shabbat, holiday celebrations, life cycle events, and cultural experiences, Wine’s ceremonial writing of prose meditations, poetry, and music articulated Humanistic Judaism. He showed that Humanistic Judaism was to be experienced and not simply understood. The integrity of saying what one believes and believing what one says, in any language, was the core principle of his liturgical work.
